As the trial judge, who, with the jury, was able to observe and hear the evidence in this case, would not exercise his initial responsibility to reduce the verdict in this case, , and as after reviewing the entire transcript we find that the verdict was not the result of passion or prejudice, we will likewise not disturb the verdict on appeal.
