“The death penalty may be imposed only if the state has proved the existence of at least one aggravating factor beyond a reasonable doubt,” Ramirez, 178 Ariz. at 128, 871 P.2d at 249, and we “will reduce a death penalty to life imprisonment where the evidence of aggravating factors is inconclusive,” 7 CONCLUSION ¶39 We affirm Snelling’s conviction for first degree murder.
