Before becoming a Judge in 2013, Judge Brearcliffe was in private practice in Tucson as a senior litigation partner with Rusing Lopez & Lizardi, P.L.L.C. Judge Brearcliffe was born in Berkeley, California, earned his Bachelor of Arts in English from California State University, Hayward, in 1992, and his J.D. from Golden Gate University in San Francisco, in 1995.
