¶ 30 While the ultimate determination of probable cause is a legal issue, which we review de novo, -56 , -84 (1991); Hockett, 139 Ariz. at 320 , 678 P.2d at 505 , it is intensely fact-based, and we must defer to the trial court's superior opportunity to view the witnesses and evaluate the evidence in determining those facts.
